SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – After weeks of summer-like heat and humidity, a refreshing change has arrived just in time for the weekend. Cooler air and lower humidity will make Saturday and Sunday absolutely gorgeous for outdoor plans.
Overnight lows will dip to the comfortable mid to upper-60s — something residents haven’t experienced in several months. Daytime highs will settle in the low to mid-80s, a welcome break from the oppressive heat that’s dominated the forecast. More importantly, that sticky humidity that’s been hanging around? Gone.
“It’s not going to be cold, but it will feel a lot better,” Chief Meteorologist Bob Harrigan said. “Lower humidity is the big thing we will notice”
