MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Manatee County School District has begun a first-of-its-kind pilot program that allows first responders to have access to real-time data and video during potential school threats.
“We certainly pray every day that we never have one of those horrible incidents in one of our schools, but now at least we’re better prepared by being able to see things that we can prepare better for as they’re making entry,” said Randy Warren, with the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
