Guests at Myakka River State Park track the wild visitors

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — Rangers from Myakka River State Park are asking for the public’s help in tracking some of their rarer animal visitors.

The state park, one of Florida’s oldest and largest, is miles and miles off the coast and features scenic drives and walking trails, but manatee sightings have been happening there for more than a decade.
