MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — Manatee County Utilities crews are working to repair a sewer force main damaged Tuesday afternoon by a third-party contractor performing work unrelated to county operations.
The department was notified of an overflow near the intersection of 26th Street West and 60th Avenue West in Bradenton. The incident occurred when a contractor installing electrical conduit struck a 24-inch sewer force main.
