The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded a contract for a new 135,000-square-foot outpatient clinic in Sarasota, selecting a development team that previously built a major VA facility in Tampa Bay to expand medical services for veterans across Sarasota and Manatee counties.
The two-story clinic, planned for 2390 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, will be developed by a joint venture between Illinois-based Cullinan Properties and Construction Managers Inc. of North Carolina, with construction expected to begin in summer 2027 and the first patients scheduled to arrive in fall 2029, according to the companies’ Oct. 28 announcement…
