SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A storm system an a frontal boundary will be the catalyst for a good deal of rain for a large area beginning on Saturday and continuing through Sunday morning. We have labeled both Saturday and Sunday as “ABC7 First Alert Weather Days”, due to the nature of the system moving in over the weekend. The biggest or strongest part of this complex storm system will be the potential for some heavy rain at times. We will not see any severe weather over the weekend so we are labeling this a “green” First Alert Weather Weekend. That is the the low end of disruptive weather.
