Tropical Storm Debby debris pickup begins in Manatee County

Tropical Storm Debby debris pickup started Tuesday in Manatee County, with an initial focus on the areas most impacted by the storm.

All debris piles must be storm-related, and residents are asked to separate vegetative, construction and appliance debris. Fencing should also be kept separate from trees and limbs, including wood fencing.

Debris piles should be kept at least three feet away from mailboxes, backflows, hydrants, and should not be placed under power lines, trees or blocked by cars.
