PALMETTO, Fla. (WWSB) – The person was shot in an officer-involved shooting Tuesday has died from his injuries, according to the Palmetto Police Department. According to officers, the incident occurred Tuesday morning near 8th Street W in Palmetto. Officers received a call about a potentially suicidal man in the area near the cemetery.
