Organization announces grant distribution

NOKOMIS — The Wilson-Wood Foundation recently announced its grant distribution for 2024.

The foundation was originally created by Hugh and Mary Wilson and John and Sadie Wood. The two families support nonprofits in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

This year, the Nokomis-based foundation funded 30 nonprofit organizations, according to a news release.

And the grants totaled $450,000.

Among them are:
