Former Convict Pleads Guilty to Cocaine Trafficking Conspiracy in Florida

Following a federal investigation, former convict Jose Ramirez, aged 39, of Bradenton, Florida, has formally pled guilty to the charge of conspiracy to distribute cocaine amounting to more than five kilograms. The announcement, made by U.S. Attorney Roger B. Handberg, indicates that Ramirez could be looking at a mandatory minimum of ten years to a potential life sentence in federal prison. A date for sentencing has yet to be established.
