VENICE — The Venice Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking golfers for its 2024 Scholarship Golf Tournament, set for Oct. 12 at the Waterford Golf Club.
Individuals, teams and sponsored teams are being sought. The $110 entry fee includes breakfast, lunch and two drink tickets. Those who wish to attend the lunch only will be charged a $25 fee.
Sponsored by Gulfside Mortgage Services, the tournament begins at 8:30 a.m., and the number of golfers has been limited to speed up play.
A 50-50 raffle will be held, and prizes will be awarded for both men and women in the “Closest to Pin” and “Longest Drive” categories. There also will be putting contest, a silent raffle, a prize for a hole-in-one and a glass break.
