Pedestrian walking across highway struck, killed by 2 vehicles in St. Petersburg: FHP

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A man trying to walk across a St. Petersburg highway overnight was killed after being struck by two vehicles, the Florida Highway Patrol said Saturday morning.

Around 2:55 a.m., the 69-year-old Clearwater man attempted to walk across Ulmerton Road, just west of 40th Street North.

Troopers said the man walked right in front of two vehicles, who were traveling eastbound on Ulmerton Road.
