VALRICO, Fla. (CBS12) — A trip to Publix turned into a $1 million win for one Florida man.

The Florida Lottery announced on Thursday that Valrico resident, Roger Shackelford claimed a $1 million top prize from the Millionaire Maker scratch-off game.

Lottery officials said Shackelford bought his winning ticket from the Publix at 3461 Lithia Pinecrest Road. With a 1-in-3.99 chance of winning, the 67-year-old turned his $5 ticket into $1 million…
