The next total lunar eclipse is March 13 and March 14, 2025 — and we’re over the moon .
Why the cause for celebration? The moon will slip entirely through Earth’s shadow – the umbra – and turn a ghostly copper color . The total lunar eclipse is the first since November 2022. It’ll be visible to much of the world — including the Sunshine State (at night, of course!). The total lunar eclipse in March 2025 will be visible across much of North America and South America and many regions beyond, including Europe and the United Kingdom.
