When KFC took its potato wedges off the menu in 2020, plenty of fans lost confidence in Colonel Sanders. The potato offering was a one-of-a-kind, and after five years of living without the wonderful wedges, they’re back. Well, kind of.
KFC announced in a news release that potato wedges would return to the menu for a limited time in five Florida locations, and if they do well, they’ll return to all menus permanently.
“After five years of fan demands and petitions , KFC is answering the call by offering Tampa another taste. Will KFC Potato Wedges make a full comeback? That’s up to you, Tampa! Fan-favorite KFC Potato Wedges are crispy on the outside, deliciously fluffy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. They’re made for scooping up KFC’s rich, savory gravy or enjoying with KFC’s Comeback Sauce – a creamy, zesty, craveable sauce,” the release explains.
