A 34-year-old St. Petersburg man narrowly escaped injury early Sunday morning, April 6, 2025, after a motorcyclist fired multiple rounds at his vehicle on Interstate 4. The incident, which occurred at approximately 2:28 AM west of Interstate 275, has prompted an investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).
According to authorities, the victim was driving westbound in his Honda CR-V when he noticed a group of motorcyclists behaving erratically alongside another unidentified vehicle. Concerned by their actions, the man began recording the motorcyclists with his cell phone. Moments later, one of the motorcyclists pulled alongside the Honda and opened fire with a handgun.
