BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Purple Alert. A Purple Alert is for an adult with cognitive disabilities.
Michael Murphy, 62, was last seen on April 7, 2025, at around 4 a.m. in the 4900 block of Lorraine Road. He is 5′10″ tall, weighs 155 pounds, has grey hair, and usually wears glasses. Michael suffers from a medical condition that may cause him to be disoriented. It is currently unknown what clothing he was wearing when he presumably left on foot.
