Manatee County to Host Adopt-A-Palooza Dog Adoption Event in Bradenton Area on May 31st

Manatee County is opening its heart and its homes with the announcement of the Adopt-A-Palooza event on May 31. This gathering, Manatee County Animal Welfare’s largest one-day dog adoption drive, is slated to draw crowds eager to find a new furry friend. Adopt-A-Palooza will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., taking place at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, located at 1 Haben Blvd., Palmetto, FL.

In a move to spur community involvement and animal welfare, Commissioner Carol Ann Felts stated, “Adopt-A-Palooza is a fantastic opportunity for our community to coming together and give these dogs the loving homes they deserve.” The event is not just about bringing home a new pet; it’s about nurturing compassion within the neighborhood and providing a tangible support network for those that cannot speak for themselves, as per Manatee County.

Dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages will be available for adoption at the event, which is co-hosted by Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare (FoMCAW). Additionally, families can enjoy a marketplace featuring an array of vendors offering products, services, and resources tailored for pet owners.
