PUNTA GORDA — A man received a dozen years in prison for slashing a woman in a Port Charlotte grocery store with a knife he grabbed off a store shelf.
Jammacar Rodkesh Gayle, 40, of North Port, will also have three years of probation from the June 9, 2023 attack, according to a news release from the 20th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office.
