VENICE — Civil rights attorney Amanda Tyler will conduct a virtual town hall meeting April 26 on the “threat” posed by Christian nationalism.
The event is sponsored by the Suncoast Citizens for Separation of Church and State and the Social Justice Alliance of Suncoast Florida. Membership in these organizations includes Christian and Jewish groups as well as nonprofit social justice organizations concerned that Christian nationalism is undermining the U.S. Constitution, a news release says.
The meeting begins at 2 p.m. in Naar Hall at United Church of Christ, 620 Shamrock Blvd. It’s free and open to the public…
