ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Detectives with the St. Petersburg Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man captured on surveillance video during an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 8405 4th Street North.
The incident occurred just before midnight on Monday, May 5th. According to investigators, a male suspect threatened a clerk with a gun while the employee was working the register. The suspect then stole cash and cigarettes before forcing the clerk into a storage room.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’10 feet tall, weighing between 190 and 200 pounds. He wore a bright yellow shirt, light blue jeans, and black sneakers at the time of the robbery.
