Hillsborough County Man Won $2 Million Prize Playing Scratch-Off Game

The Florida Lottery recently announced that Joel Miranda Roman, of Ruskin, claimed a $2 million top prize from the $2,000,000 100X CASHWORD scratch-off game.

The Hillsborough County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,280,000.

The Central Florida winner purchased his winning ticket from Sunoco Food Mart, located at 1202 N. Tamiami Trail in Ruskin, south of Tampa. The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
