MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – Meals on Wheels Plus of Manatee is combatting summer hunger with their annual program to give away free meals to children and families in need.
The organization told ABC7 that 42% of residents within the county are only one catastrophic event away from being in a crisis.
