Sorella, a concept spearheaded by twin sisters Danielle Pitruzzella and Dana Malcolm, is coming soon to Sarasota. The sisters shared that they are partnered with Danielle’s wife, Salvatrice Pitruzzella, an Italian restaurateur with 30 years of restaurant ownership experience.
The eatery is planning to debut at 1532 Main St, Sarasota, FL 34236, where they will have approximately 2,500 square feet and 120 seats. Additionally, they will serve guests on a parkette outside—a small deck covering two parking spaces in front of the restaurant—offering European-style sidewalk seating.
They shared that the menu will feature a pizza oven from Naples for Neapolitan pizzas, homemade pastas, hand-stretched mozzarella, and more. While rooted in traditional Italian cooking, the menu will have a modern and trendy twist.
