Florida Fishing Fleet, a cornerstone of the historic Cortez fishing village, is proud to announce the newest addition to its growing charter fleet: KINGPIN. What began as a bold vision just a few months ago has now become a reality thanks to tireless dedication, countless hours of labor, and unwavering community support.
“Six months ago, if someone told me we’d be adding another boat, I would’ve laughed,” said Erin Dolan a member of the Florida Fishing Fleet team. “But life comes at you fast, and this opportunity became something we couldn’t pass up.”
The journey to launch KINGPIN wasn’t easy. What was expected to be a two-week project turned into four grueling months of intensive work. The team—led by the relentless effort of Lance “Crusty” Plowman—pushed through long days under the sun, late nights, and every imaginable challenge to get the vessel ready for action.
