TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – The family of a 9-year-old Bradenton girl bitten by a shark Wednesday says she is recovering after extensive injuries to her hand.
Tampa General Hospital released a statement Thursday from the family of Leah Lendel, saying doctors are seeing improvement. “The doctors were able to get blood flow to her hand and fingers. She is showing some movement in two fingers but can’t feel the rest,” the statement said.
