Zoo World Burglar Nabbed: Sarasota Man Faces Charges After Wild Break-In
A Sarasota County man is behind bars, awaiting extradition to Bay County, after a bizarre break-in at Zoo World Zoological Park earlier this month. Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford announced Friday the arrest of Roland Matthew Bohley, 34, of Sarasota County, in connection with the overnight burglary.
The alarm was first raised in the early morning hours of June 17, 2025, when Zoo World staff conducting routine property checks discovered a section of the perimeter fence had been breached.
