An ongoing Lorraine Road widening project could be fast tracked as Manatee County commissioners shift priorities for the county’s 2025-26 budget.
The project is not the only one in flux, as several construction programs, such as plans to connect and improve Manatee County trails, build a parking deck at the Bradenton Area Convention Center, design of the unfinished second floor of the Lakewood Ranch library and stormwater and drainage needs also see increased emphasis during the county’s budget planning.
