SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — Stellar grades, new schools and navigating state funding were some of the topics Sarasota County Superintendent Terry Connors mentioned speaking with us ahead of the 2025-2026 school year.
Connors says the tone this school year is one of major accomplishments.
“We have just earned our 22nd consecutive ‘A’ as a school district. We are only one of two school districts in the state of Florida that have achieved that. 95% of our schools district managed are A and B, so we’re really proud of that,” said Connors…
