‘Operation Bad Baby’ shuts down North Port drug house

NORTH PORT, Fla. (WFLA) — The North Port Police Department announced on Tuesday the official closing of a local drug house, courtesy of ‘Operation Bad Baby.’

The department said the investigation had been ongoing, and on Monday, their special investigations unit was able to successfully execute a search warrant in the 2000 block of Alliance Ave.

NPPD called in backup, and some residents noted a large law enforcement presence in the area. Multiple SWAT teams, K-9 units, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives all assisted in the operation…
