Memorial rises at the site of a deadly crash in Parrish

PARRISH, Fla. (WWSB) – A memorial has sprung up near the site of a deadly car crash Saturday in Parrish.

This crash happened around 2:15 p.m. on Silver Leaf Avenue, near U.S. 301. Two 19-year-old men were killed; a 17-year-old was critically injured; and a 16-year-old — the only one wearing a seat belt, investigators say — sustained serious injuries.

“And this is a perfect example of how no one else was there, but by going too fast and not having that experience behind the wheel, can end up costing you your life,” Florida Highway Patrol Senior Trooper Kenn Watson said…
