St. Petersburg Man Indicted on Child Sexual Abuse Material Charges
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A St. Petersburg man has been indicted on charges of accessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) with the intent to view it, U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announced today. Thomas Ford, 61, was formally charged following an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
According to the indictment, which was returned by a grand jury, Ford is accused of accessing a file containing a visual depiction of a child under the age of 12 engaging in sexually explicit conduct. The alleged activity occurred between July 25, 2024, and March 19, 2025.
If convicted, Ford could face a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison. The indictment also includes a notice of intent for the United States to seize two cellphones that are alleged to have been used in the commission of the offense…
