MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said a body was found just west of where a swimmer disappeared near Anna Maria Island’s Bean Point Beach.
Deputies believe the body found belongs to 20-year-old Abhigyan Patel, who was seen swimming just before 7 p.m. in an olive green shirt before he vanished.
They are in the process of positively identifying the man and notifying family members…
