‘Embodied’ expands on the definition of the human figure

SARASOTA — “Embodied: Highlights from The Ringling’s Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art” will be presented through Oct. 12 at The Ringling Museum of Art.

“Embodied” expands on the definition of the human figure by bringing together diverse representations in painting, sculpture, fiber, video and mixed media by artists working in the 20th and 21st centuries, according to a news release.
