SARASOTA — After 10 years of planning, fundraising building and transporting animals, Mote officially debuted its new Sarasota facility on Wednesday.
The Mote Science Education Aquarium, nicknamed Mote SEA, welcomed in its seasonal pass owners on Monday for tours around the 146,000 square feet of space.
Timeline discoveries, exhibits totaling more than 1 million gallons of water full of aquatic adventures and visible research labs all play their parts, as Mote SEA takes a visitor to the past, the present and the future…
