Christopher Dimastrantonio, a resident of Bradenton, faces new charges after the theft of a $9,000 gold chain from Kay Jewelers on September 28, 2025. According to reports, he told employees to contact the police before leaving the store. He was first arrested for grand theft on October 4. Further investigation led to additional charges.
After the initial arrest, more victims reported incidents involving Dimastrantonio. This resulted in a second arrest on October 11 for dealing in stolen property and defrauding a pawnbroker, related to events from January.
