Ingman Marine, a fourth-generation family-owned marina based in Port Charlotte, has purchased Cannons Marina, a historic, family-run marina on Longboat Key, according to a press release.
The acquisition marks a major milestone for Ingman Marine, as it continues to expand its presence on the Suncoast and strengthen its ties with Grady-White Boats, a North Carolina based company that builds fiberglass boats.
Cannons Marina is Florida’s oldest and most regarded Grady-White dealership, according to a press release from Ingman Marine. The marina will continue its operations under Ingman Marine’s ownership, “blending tradition with innovation to deliver world-class boating experiences for generations to come,” the news release said.

Richard Ingman founded Gasparilla Marine Sales in Southwest Florida in 1981 with hopes of instilling a love for the water in his family and community.
