Nearly 100 years of history behind Sarasota County’s Blackburn Point Bridge

Here are some key dates in the almost 100-year life of the Blackburn Point Road Swing Bridge. Many of these early dates were taken from Sarasota County’s application to list the bridge on the National Register of Historic Places.
