MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – Manatee County celebrated “Mixon in Bloom” Friday, an event marking the county’s official $13.5 million purchase of the historic Mixon Fruit Farms property.
The event featured a ceremonial “Passing of the Key” to commemorate the transition of this beloved local landmark from private to public ownership.
