Manatee County Government announced holiday office closures. Offices will be closed on Wednesday for Christmas Eve; Thursday for Christmas Day; and January 1, 2026, for New Year’s Day.
According to Manatee County, during the holidays, there will be no garbage, recycling, or yard waste collection on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. If your pickup falls on a holiday, collection will occur one day later. Normal schedules resume the following Monday.
Manatee County parks, preserves, and beaches will remain open during the holidays. Golf courses at Manatee County and Buffalo Creek will be closed on Christmas Day. The G.T. Bray and John Marble Recreation Centers will close early at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday and remain closed until Friday.
