BRADENTON, Fla. (WFLA) — The Bradenton Police Department said an ambulance was involved in a crash that shut down an intersection for a few hours on Saturday night.
Just before 10 p.m. on Dec. 20, the ambulance, with emergency lights activated, was transporting a patient on Manatee Avenue West.
Police said an initial investigation suggests a car was trying to pull over to get out of the way of the ambulance, as is required by law. Another driver then rear-ended the first car, pushing it into the ambulance…
