VENICE — Thanks to the dedication and charitable hearts of students, Venice Middle School announced a record breaking holiday food drive this year.
The drive, which ran from Nov. 17 to Dec. 12, saw students surpass all expectations, collecting more than 800 items to help fight hunger in Sarasota County, according to a news release.
