APOLLO BEACH — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with a fatal traffic crash that killed a 16-year-old girl.
According to the sheriff’s office, the crash occurred at approximately 5:14 p.m. on December 26, 2025. A mother and her 16-year-old daughter were traveling northbound on 30th Street Northeast and were crossing the intersection at Covington Garden Drive in Apollo Beach.
