SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Dozens of ducks were found dead or dying at a Sarasota County lake over the holiday weekend, leaving residents searching for answers about what caused the sudden deaths.
The discovery was made at a lake just off McIntosh Lane and McIntosh Road. Residents who live nearby and regularly observe the wildlife say the deaths were both shocking and heartbreaking.
