SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Sarasota woman found guilty of the manslaughter of her 14-week-old son in November 2021 has now been sentenced.
On Monday, Lily Scheip was sentenced to just over 10 years in prison followed by 4 years of probation. Since she served nearly 4 years in jail before her sentencing, she’ll only have to spend about 5 years in prison.
