WALKER COUNTY, Ala. (WWSB) — The body of 4-year-old Jonathan Boley was found Friday in a creek about two miles from his father’s home in Alabama, three days after the Manatee County boy went missing on New Year’s Eve.
Walker County Sheriff Nick Smith said Jonathan, known as “John John,” was recovered at approximately 12:55 p.m. on Jan. 2. Hundreds of volunteers had joined the three-day search for the missing child.
“I don’t want to speculate on what the cause of death may or may not be,” Smith said. “All I can say is that from what was done this morning, that we can rule out the fact that there was no trauma and there was no assault-type injuries. Anything else would require further testing.”…
