PALMETTO, Fla. (WFLA)— A Palmetto man in connection with a homicide in 2019 was arrested in Mexico and brought back to Florida.
Irving Zuniga, 27, was arrested in Mexico City following a multi-agency investigation and was deported back to Manatee County, where he faces second-degree murder charges, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said.
On June 29, 2019, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 7:17 a.m. after a passerby found a man lying in the grass in the 1200 block of 61st Street East in Palmetto.
