SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A proposed Sarasota County Schools resolution would affirm the schools’ cooperation with all state and local law enforcement, including ICE.
“We have really an A-plus team that’s going to abide by the law. We’re going to cooperate,” said Sarasota School Board Chair Bridget Ziegler. “We’re going to ensure that we are following the law, and any of this nonsense about raids in our school, that is not acceptable and is completely based on the purpose of inciting fear.”
