Measles cases reported in Hillsborough, Manatee counties: FDOH

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Two measles cases were reported in the Tampa Bay area this month, Florida Department of Health data indicates.

One case was reported in Hillsborough County and the other was reported in Manatee County, according to the FDOH reportable diseases database.

Both cases involve patients who are 20 to 24 years old. The Hillsborough County patient acquired the disease in Florida, while the Manatee County patient acquired the disease outside of the United States.
