SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – The Fox Mercantile, a coffee shop and boutique located on Cortez Road near Anna Maria Island, has new owners with plans to expand the venue’s offerings and community involvement.
McKenna Tanski and Max Tanski, who purchased the business, joined us today along with manager Sarah Dillon. The couple, who have two children, ages 2 and 8 months old, said they plan to transform the space into a venue for intimate island events.
“This ownership is born from a lifelong love of coffee, people, and creating spaces that feel warm and meaningful,” McKenna Tanski said. “I have always been passionate about community and people, so my dream of owning a coffee shop comes from my desire to create a spot rooted in intention.”
Event space and merchandise updates
